Valtteri Bottas among the streets of Milan: the video tribute of Alfa Romeo F1 Team ORLEN to the 100 years of Monza Circuit

The exciting video of Alfa Romeo F1 Team ORLEN single-seater through the streets of Milan goes on air on Alfa Romeo’s official social media and YouTube channels to celebrate the sporting bond among the brand, its hometown and the historic Monza circuit, which turns 100 this year.

A unique and unconventional tribute to Italian motorsport and one of its most famous “temples” in the world. Indeed, the Monza racetrack is not only the circuit where the Italian Grand Prix is held. It is also the track where, on September 3, 1950, Alfa Romeo won the first Formula 1 title in history with Nino Farina’s Alfetta 158. A true and unbreakable bond between Alfa Romeo and Monza that is renewed again this year.

Driven by Finnish driver Valtteri Bottas, the Formula 1 single seater had been spotted on June 24th among the streets of the city center and the symbolic places of the Italian metropolis: Piazza Duomo, Piazza San Babila, Porta Nuova, the majestic Central Station, the CityLife district, the Portello – where in 1910 stood Alfa Romeo’s first production site.

The bond with Milan after all is something visceral. Here, 112 years ago, under the name Anonima Lombarda Fabbrica Automobili, the brand was introduced to the world, giving way to an authentic and passionate automotive and sports legend.
