There’s just under a fortnight left to go until the closing date for entries for the Newspress Awards – the annual event that recognises excellence in automotive journalism and PR.
It’s simple to enter. Journalists, photographers and videographers can put forward their own work in a number of specific categories via the ‘Enter’ tab on the Newspress Awards website https://www.newspressuk.com/awards.
Entries will be accepted until 11.59pm on 30th April 2023.
Last year’s newest category, ‘EV Writer of the Year’ returns: we also welcome entries from those in the broadcast media: links to video or MP4 attachments can be uploaded.
Staffers and freelancers are equally welcome to apply, and all entries will be judged on merit. The awards are judged by a wholly independent judging panel made up of respected media experts.
The PR awards for Press Office, PR of the Year and Rising PR Star are on a vote-only basis, with votes cast by Newspress-registered journalists only. In these three categories the individuals with the most votes will win. Anyone wishing to put forward candidates for the Lifetime Achievement Award are welcome to do so and can leave supporting information on the online entry form.
Tim Barfoot, Newspress managing director said: “For the past 50 years, Newspress has been entrenched at the heart of the industry. At the same time as celebrating the company’s landmark milestone at our seventh awards ceremony, we will also be celebrating excellence from across the industry, including automotive journalism, photography and PR.”
This year the Newspress Awards will be announced in June coinciding with the company’s 50th anniversary.
