There’s no missing the beautiful classic on this month’s cover thanks to its lurid Le Mans Green paintwork, which was specified by its owner when he bought this Ford Cortina 1600 GT brand new in 1972. Incredibly, he still owns it today, and has recently treated it to a full restoration.

Our second car feature this month is a very different model, but just as collectable – this delightful little Austin 7 RN Saloon was previously a wedding car at a hotel venue, but has now been returned to its original 1932 specification.
Our tractor feature this month outlines the story of a recently-rebuilt David Brown 996 that is still in the same family that bought it new in Co. Cork in 1976, our featured motorcycle is a big two-stroke Suzuki T500M from the same year, and our commercial feature showcases a 1956 Ford E83W van that’s been restored to truly outstanding condition by its Tyrone-based owner.
All of the usual favourites are in there too, plus our annual Christmas giveaway and Head Skimmer Crossword to mark the end of the year.
