Torque Agency Group Launches New Podcast Series – Torquing Heads

Torque Agency Group, the automotive focused communications agency, has launched a new podcast series, Torquing Heads. The five-episode line-up will be broadcast weekly and features interviews with the great and the good of the automotive industry. The first episode kicks off with Paddy Hopkirk MBE and is available to listen to and download today.

Presented by associate director, Alex Michaelides, and senior account manager, Libby Raynsford, the podcast also enjoys guest appearances from Torque’s team of experienced PR professionals. The company’s expansive network of contacts has delivered a regular flow of familiar faces from all areas of the automotive industry. Interviewees taking part in the inaugural series of Torquing Heads include professional racing drivers, notable motoring journalists and international classic car dealers.

The first episode hears Alex and Libby in conversation with rally legend and IAM RoadSmart Mature Drivers Ambassador, Paddy Hopkirk MBE. Paddy speaks in detail about his memories of his career-defining 1964 Monte Carlo rally win, his work as an advocate of safer driving with IAM RoadSmart and his love of zero-emission motoring.

The series will also see Torque chew the fat with RM Sotheby’s Executive Vice President and Head of Europe, Maarten ten Holder. A key member of one of the most widely recognised auction houses, Maarten offers listeners a fascinating insight behind the scenes of automotive auctioneering, as well as offering his views on the classic car market.

Also joining Alex and Libby are Team Karting CEO and Team BRIT driver Matty Street, aftersales specialist Andy Savva and automotive artist, Tim Layzell. Each offers listeners a wide-ranging view of the motoring industry.
