A new sponsor is supporting the Guild of Motoring Writers Award for technology journalism in 2020.
Genesis, a premium automotive brand from Korea, is gearing up for launch in Europe in 2021, and has agreed to sponsor the 2020 Guild of Motoring Writers Awards.
The automotive industry is going through a seismic change, with many new technologies being introduced at break-neck speed. Demystifying these, explaining the customer benefits and every day practical use, is becoming one of the most important roles for journalists, and Genesis is keen to support and celebrate this.
The Genesis Motor Europe Technology Award will recognise journalists breaking down the mumbo-jumbo and turning tech talk into understandable language. It will also recognise the deep-dives and investigations.
There are nine other categories with cash prizes available, and finalists will be announced in mid-January, with an awards ceremony broadcast online in February to announce the winners.
