Today is the final day to submit entries in the 2021 Guild of Motoring Writers Awards, but we know many journalists need a reminder of an impending deadline to prioritise their work.
There are 11 categories (with 14 prizes) requiring submissions, but the loop/Guild of Motoring Writers Journalist of the Year is selected from the best candidates entering those categories. The award comes with a cash prize of £500 plus a trophy.
Cash prizes of up to £500 are available in other categories of the awards that recognise and reward excellence in writing and photography.
Finalists will be announced in mid-November, with an awards ceremony broadcast held at a gala dinner at the Royal Automobile Club, Pall Mall, on 2nd December.
The entry form, information about the awards, and the rules for entry can be found at www.gomw.co.uk/awards. Today (Thursday) will be the final day entries can be accepted.
Candidates are advised to read the online instructions carefully before entering.
If you have any questions about the entry procedure, contact Honorary Secretary, Richard Netherwood at [email protected]
